A bunch of recent things that happened lately has made me realize that I hide from many a thing. I've let friends get out of contact, I've made excuses for when not to hang out with friends... etc.
No more of this. Starting today... well, technically this started last Monday, but anyways. I am going to be trying to get back in contact with friends I lost touch with. I've had over a hundred usernames on AIM that I don't talk to the users anymore, mainly because of username changes. Doesn't help either that at least a quarter of those were Rock and Rory's ids, lol... but I am going to get back in contact with the people I do remember the other ids and stuff for.
In other news... I've moved down to Phoenix to live with my mom and sister. It's quite a different place down here... but it's pretty interesting. I'm looking into some jobs at the moment, because my brief time at Checksmart didn't pan out. Isn't so bad really, because the boss there is doing whatever he can to help me find a new job elsewhere.
I've been trying to draw for the past few months, but nothing really decent seems to be coming out anymore. I may try again today and succeed. Maybe this drive to do... something will help a bit.
It's kind of funny where this drive started... I had a weird dream last monday where I got back in contact with Rock and Rory, and it was just... a lot different then what was going on when I first met them, in part because I grew up a lot since then I think. We talked a bunch and I even met one of them in person. o.o When I woke up, I just had this urge to try to track down friends, but until today I wasn't looking in all the right places.
I've been working a lot in programming, and I've actually gotten a pretty decent Metroid/vania style Megaman X engine going with Game Maker. Been working on adding a bunch of the new upgrades into one of the characters, when I finish it's going to be great... one phrase guys, RAIL DASH. XP
Anyways, if you see this Rory... I hope I can join your friends list on LJ. I really do want to get back in contact. |

Basically... people are saying i'm walkign away from machines... to start conversations with other people. I'm not. I've been fucken trying to find supervisors to confirm shit is working right, calling the technician when we need help, trying to find the waterbug supervisor to take my place so I can use my one restroom turn and fucken helping the new shits when the waterbug isn't fucken around to ask questions.
And yet, I'm told my supervisor doesn't want to yell at me, but she's going to send me home the moment someone says I'm doing something, or I'm not seen next to the machine. So... they can steal my work time now by saying I'm talking to them.
... god I want to hurt something, even if it's myself for once instead of the reverse happening. ...I'll comment again later, I need to get out of the house before I do something rash. |

Step One
- Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
- If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.
- Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post (it'll be public) so that the holiday joy will spread.
Step Two
-Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:
- If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.
You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.
There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

5. To not be depressed on my upcoming birthday, 11/15. Which is hard... it's a very lonely time.
4. To get some kind of present from people other then my family for said birthday. ^^: Be it Art or otherwise.

I felt something was wrong last night... and I didn't really query about it. Went into work, and at about midnight... 2amish, felt really worried about the friend involved. Didn't know why, until I came on this morning. I should have asked more about what was going on and tried to cheer up friend a lot more, instead of just asking for game and a simple "is everything ok?"... I'm sorry, I wasn't a good friend last night... but I'm trying to be one now. If you need anyone to talk to, I'll be in tintagel tonight. Yeah, I found the channel, lol...

It's what I feel like. I did something today that should have kept me feeling better, as it was an accomplishment, painting the kitchen for my grandmother... and it's a BIG kitchen. aAmost two rooms worth, but no... I'm feeling crappy and to be honest I tried to lay down to nap off crappy feeling but I just started to break down and cry. : (
What the fuck is wrong with me nowadays? I'm either worn out as all fuck from lack of sleep, but feeling ok.... or I'm not tired and worn out but in the urge to just jam a pillow down over my head hard. Nothing seems to work, tried different games, tried other active activities like the painting...
it's just... fucktacular. -_-

Embyr actually used a new randonm character in Aim Rp! XD I know, a silly thing to be all gaspy about, but considering how rare this happens, still an interesting turn. :) Makes me feel more compelled in our little story arcs because it makes it feel like it's like the stuff I've heard about from her and akiro, not that I had a lesser urge to work on them of course. Just... I dunno, I guess it's refreshing. Maybe things will turn for the better from this and the randomness will continue. :P I should post some quotes from some of the RPs, they get to be fun at times... I mean, where else are you going to hear a line like ".. *smirk* you just want me in your lair. u_u" between a dating couple? *chuckles*
I'm feeling great considering the crap at work the last few days has esculated to a point where I'm ready to start killing coworkers left and right. Well, actually I'm also feeling great not considering that either. Just one more day to go, then I'm free for the weekend. I can't wait til ori's back on the 7th or the 8th though, I miss doing axestone rp a little. It's whacky, it doesn't make sense all the time... but god damned if it hasn't had some of the funniest lines I can think of. XD
Probably update again tonight with more coherence, just got off work and getting ready to pick up and cash check, as well as donate plasma. V, IM me tonight. XD I have to talk to you about something relating to last night's conversation.

Well, over the last week I was having stress problems, freaking out on people and relatively causing havok with a bunch of my friends. It finally got to a point where I tried to actually do something about it. Which, btw, thanks Atty :), ended up being taking a Dietary Supplement called Preventive Nutrition Mood Formula. No, it isn't drugs. :P It's just a massive dose of certain vitamins that's managed to improve my mood greatly and just allow me to relax and think a bit more clearly. I haven't smiled and felt good as much as I have in the last few days since... well, from just before I started taking the stuff to about the middle of November.
However, this has proved to be a double-edged sword... as I'm starting to see some of my older friends in a new light, that's not neccesarily a good one. I'm not angsting over it, but still, it is there. Little things that nudge at me once in a while... Sometimes I've wondered in the last few days if some of my friends just can't admit they're just as fucked up sometimes as I am. Not saying they have the same problems as I do, of course... but there's something there. That they just don't see, because they're too busy perpetuating these problems or they just don't see the problem.
Anyways! I had a brainstorm today of one of those quiz things to start today.

I will reply with an entry describing what I know about the character personality wise, as well as any little deductions I've made about just who they are and what makes them tick, as well as name of a character of mine who I'd like you to do the same for. For those not in the know, the aforementioned writer basically had the two of them sucked into a blackhole, which a later writer revealed to be a wormhole to Mojo World. *grin* X-men Member Juggernaut forever!
